HOW TO SURVIVE LISBON AIRPORT WITHOUT LOSING YOUR FLIGHT
1 — Arrive Early
Give yourself a generous safety margin and arrive at least 4 hours before departure. Lisbon Airport is beautiful… but efficiency is not always its strongest quality.
2 — Check In Immediately
Don’t wait around. Head straight to check‑in to secure your boarding pass and drop your luggage before queues build up.
3 — Use Fast Track Security
If available, choose Fast Track. It can save you precious time and spare you unnecessary stress.
4 — Avoid the VIP Lounge
Tempting as it may be, the lounge can become a trap. Time slips away quickly — and the airport layout doesn’t always make it easy to reach your gate promptly.
5 — Go Straight to Immigration
Even if the line looks endless, join it immediately. Arriving early means you’ll have the buffer you need to get through without panic.
6 — Relax Only After Immigration
Once you’re past the bottleneck, then you can breathe. Enjoy a coffee, browse the shops, or simply unwind before boarding.
